Blake's flirting is so much sexier (and effective) than Kathy's. XDD I love this so much. You really do know a lot about that era, and it's really amazing. Even the writing feels like it's from that time. Lovely.

I think the writing feels that way because there's so much dialogue in the fic, and I have like, every early-60s tv show and movie playing in my head while I'm writing.

I adore Kat, and I hope that shows, but Blake just IS sexier than she is, because he has more ownership of it.

So here's the thing. I've been approving this every time it has come through and I've always meant to read but then by the time I get home from work I forget. So this morning, I made myself read the first chapter (which made me late to work, but really...who cares.) And then I had to read the other two once I got to work because...I'm seriously in LOVE with this fic!

I love, love, love AU's, especially when they weave in other characters that we know and love, inserting them into situations that we don't expect. I enjoy seeing how people adapt the boys into different worlds and make them work. You do a brilliant job here. This story feels so authentic and real. I can't WAIT to see what happens next and how the relationship between Chris and Blake develops.

I'll do a better job actually reviewing the chapter next time...but awesome job!

about two semesters ago, i took a class called "history of rock music" and this whole story is just like a throwback to my favorite era. you clearly know your stuff and i can't believe how much i'm enjoying it!

the mention of what blake had for lunch just had me laughing; all that good food back then, ACTUAL food. what a nice concept ;)

the kittens! every detail about them was adorable and then kat had to get all up on chris (of course). and i love the way that blake reacted to the cigarette box. i just love everything about this; nice job!

(ps i friended you too, just to let you know - you had HIMYM and Top Chef in your profile; i couldn't resist)

Another excellent chapter! I love the descriptions of the Kittens, especially Gina who, in every fic ever made, is the best faghag ever. The little matchbox thing surprised me; I didn't expect you to start them on their relationship already with that little "You're gay? Yay! I'm gay, too!" exchange and it felt like quite a refreshing change of pace from fics that draw out the attracted-to-each-other-but-not-saying-anything-about-it angle (which I also tend to enjoy).

Actually, I'd kinda enjoy showing you off.

Yes, Blake, you certainly do, haha.

Can't wait for the next one :)

Blushing!Chris! is one of the cutest thing ever. :)

I am really enjoying this fic. All the details you put into it are amazing. It really adds to the whole thing.

We're a couple'a fags

But we prefer to neck with boys we see in the fashion mags.

Poor Chris, he really is having it rough. First time in a professional studio and just trying to keep his head above water and Blake being physically distant and Gina making strange remarks and Kat being all over him and then he slips up … it would be funny to rewrite this from his POV. But all's well that ends well! Thank you!
