How strange, when editing the template I use for each week's performance recap, to not be taking a name out of the list! I usually wait for the recap to post the drabbles but Jacob is running very late this week. I've poked at this a lot, particularly the one for the Idol Gives Back results show, for obvious reasons. But hopefully, you will enjoy; as advertised, they're rather sentimental. Thanks to dana_kujan, whose comment about their body language on stage gave me a way into the second drabble.

So I watched Ryan on Ellen (I missed Simon, woe) and the one interesting thing he said while he was avoiding Ellen trying to get him a girl (awkward!) was that Simon said he'd only go to Africa if Ryan went with him! Friends, they are so in love.
