Dude, Saturday night was pretty awesome.
First, I went to an All-Ivy alumni event with Tyler. It was at the Third Degree Glass Factory...they had a bunch of their art on display and for sale, and they did a glass blowing demonstration. There was food and wine and beer and over a hundred people. It was certainly one of the more interesting ways to spend a Saturday night in STL. We met some cool people who invited us to an after party, which Tyler deemed an "Adult Nerd Fest." Hahaha, it's pretty accurate but the party was fun. There was music and Schlafly and old-school Looney Tunes projected onto a wall. We got a bunch of people's numbers, and gave ours out, and it'd be fun to see those people again.
The second part of the night started when we got home around 1am. It was snowing pretty hard, and had been for a few hours...we probably had 2-3" at that point. I knew the forecast called for the chance of rain on Sunday, and the snow was definitely supposed to stop by 6am. So I carpe diem'ed, threw on some snow boots and a winter coat, and took May out for a walk in the snow. She was SO excited, I loved it. Snow makes me really, inexplicably happy, and so do dogs. We walked around for an hour or so, met some nice people on the sidewalk, and ran through the park. Yes, I was slightly intoxicated and decided to run with May (and my knees made me pay for it on Sunday). It's kind of crazy how much fun I had that night :)
