I'm very neglectful.
Okay, so I haven't been blogging much. But since this is a writing journal, and I haven't been doing much in terms of writing, then I guess it seems pointless to post.
My goal is to finish my current wip by November, and by now I should be at about 50k. But I'm barely at 35k. I've been hoping to write about 5,000 words per week, but for the last two weeks, I've been so tired and caught up with uni that I haven't found the time to write. Plus, I just couldn't be bothered.
Luckily, I've gotten back into the groove of writing this week, writing almost 4k. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch up. I think I'll end up posting weekly metrics in order to motivate myself to reach my goal.
In other news, on Monday, I got a debit card, meaning I can now buy things online. Things that I have purchased since then include a pair of red high-heeled shoes (they are SO pretty), a pair of Doc Martens, all the True Blood books, season 1 of True Blood, a ticket to see Iron Maiden next year, and a few books off Book Depository (free shipping? Almost every book imaginable? *swoons*). Also, I'm probably going to end up buying myself a few tickets to see Muse, if they're still avaliable. The boyfriend is demanding that we go see them, which I have no issue with, honestly. :P
But hopefully, I won't drain my account dry. I'm trying not to make any new purchases until next month, where I will only allow myself to buy a few books off Book Depository.
Also, in a bit over a week, I'm going to the Royal Melbourne Show to watch the dog shows. My two favourite breeds ever are going to be displayed then, Chow Chows and Shiba Inus. I'm hoping to talk with a breeder about maybe hopefully getting a Chow Chow in the future. Although, judging by how I've been neglecting my blog, I don't think I should be respoinsible for the life of a dog.
