I'm going to be a GRANDMOTHER!!! We went to dinner with my son and daughter in law last night and they told us they're having a baby! I'm so excited!!! Hey, wait a minute . . . I'm only 44 . . . I'm too YOUNG to be a grandmother! LOL

Hhhhmmm... Good question. I can't deny that I feel the old baby yearning in the pit of my stomach on occasions like this, as I have many times since the ole hysterectomy. Then I think about the independence I have now and I laugh at myself. I love 'em, sure, so long as I can give 'em back when I'm done.
