What are hasty Lilly Pads and Lilly Pad/collection points?
Hasty Lilly Pads are those surface launch points where DWF Alpha teams will launch boats for SAR. Rescued persons (RPs) will be picked up by the boat crews and brought to the Hasty Lilly Pads. LANG high water military transport vehicles will pick up RPs at the Hasty Lilly Pad and bring them to the Lilly Pad/collection points.
Lilly pad/collection points are those locations where RPs are brought from one or more hasty Lilly Pads. These pre-designated locations are on the SAR maps and have been selected based on historical flooding and likely vehicle access in the event of flooding or heavy storm damage.
