on a happier note
Having survived the drive to drop Joy off and pick the boys up... it's snowing like it means it out there, that thick, sticky snow that coats everything and is no fun for driving, especially in unfamiliar areas where it would be nice to be able to read the street signs...
I am now going to take a moment to savor my current circumstance: thawing my toes, warm kitten snuggled on my lap, good tea... lots of things to be thankful for including good friends, loving family, the sound of kids trying to maim each other, a shelf of good books to read, and a beautiful snow-globe view out the window.
