PBS coverage is boring...

Seeing Jimmy Carter being interviewed was good. Listening to the Jim Lehere commentators/coverage is painful. This is why I don't watch TV.

Christ... Now they are interviewing a Delegate who's a "BROWN PERSON!" OMG!

I don't know how much of this I can take.

I always enjoy seeing Jimmy Carter speak. Not a good president, but a hell of a good human being, and a very wise man.

I think Carter was a phenomenal president... His Brokering of the Egypt/Isreali peace deal,(Egypt was the first Arab country to officially recognize Israel.) makes him one of the most important presidents of the cold-war era

he also pushed the neutron bomb. and the Iranian revolution is whatever; shit happens in other countries... his response to it was entirely inadequate, and led to the Republicans being able to manipulate the hostage situation for political gain. demonize them all you want, but if the GOP as a party had more power then a Dem president backed by a Dem Congress then either they are so powerful we all should just give up now, or he had some serious presidential shortcomings.

I prefer to think the latter.

but what he's done as an ex-President is phenomenal and amazing. what a fantastic impact on the world he's had.
