I went to a kick ass festival a couple of weeks ago. Got to see Chad from Mudvayne beat himself with the mic and bleed all over the the place, Deryck from Sum 41 acted like Elvis and announced that he likes to eat pussy, Scott from Unwritten Law likes to fornicate and touch himself in the bad spot (a LOT), storyoftheyear announced that their new cd will be out at the end of summer, um.... bunch of other bands... whatever.
Let's see... 12 summers old, a local band from Belleville, IL has taken me on as their e-team leader and ultimately, their publicist. So, they keep me pretty busy keeping shit updated with show info and mp3s. Plus, I solicit shows for them as well. HAH! I'm such a nice person.

OOH OOOH OOOOOOH!!! TOTAL COOLNESSNESS (yeah, that's not a typo, I said coolnessness), I found a snake in my backyard today. My mom scared the shit out of it when I was trying to grab it and it fell into my pool... then my mom's bf pinned it down with a net and pissed him the fuck off. Fuckers. I wanted to catch it and keep it. I don't know where it is now. So if you live in Alton and you see a 1 1/2 foot long garden snake that is pissed off.... catch it and email me.
Oh yeah... like 2 weeks ago-ish... Shawn, one of the guitarists from Calico System invited me to a party at the other guitarist's, Rick, house. The drummer, Erik, apparantly thought it would be funny to hit me in my face a good 20 times while he was drunk. I was talking to Shawn and told him that he and I should totally have fucked that night (yeah, so?) and he told me it was a bad idea because he was too drunk to perform properly. He told me he wanted to prove it to me and called Erik over. He told Erik, "she thinks she and I should have sex. Tell her why it's a bad idea." Erik looks at me and says, "because you fucking suck, that's why."
Shawn's jaw damn near hit the floor. He kept apologizing for Erik for like 5 minutes. Shawn's a good guy. Erik isn't.
Erik spent the rest of the night hitting me in my face... hard.
I hit him back at one point and Rick, who's house we were at, told me if I was going to start shit that I had to leave. Nice, eh? Well, I backed off because Mike and Brandon from 12 summers old were there... and Shawn and I get along too. Anyways, it kept progressing and Erik kept hitting me harder. So finally I bailed. I was telling Shawn that I was going to go and he told me to hit Erik back... hard... on my way out the door because he deserved it. So I did.
Erik followed me to my car and kicked a dent into it. Yeah... a BIG OL FUCKIN DENT. Well, I followed him back to the house... I should've left it alone. I asked him why he did that and he told me because I had hit him!!!! WTF!?!? So yeah... he proceeds to hit me again... really truly hard this time and knocked my glasses off of my face. I'm surprised he didn't leave a mark.
Well, Rick is now out there with us by this point and his exact words to me were, "You have to fucking go right now... and do NOT come back." FINE. I was leaving anyways. I don't feel the need to subject myself to humiliation anymore, tyvm. Nice of him to defend and basically condone beating on women.
Calico System is a good band, music-wise. They're members... well Mark (the singer) and Shawn (guitar) are hella cool. I've never spoken with Nick.... Erik and Rick are fucking douchebags. I honestly hope they both get gang ass raped.
Anyways, not a whole lot has been going on. I'm gearing up for my road trip with Chel in July. I'm going to see the Wallflowers on July 6, Blindside on July 14 (my bday), then on July 16... I'm leaving at 5am to go to Chel's house. From there, we'll be heading to New Orleans and then to Orlando and Daytona. So excited. Happy Birthday to me!!!
I'm tired though. I need to go to bed. I was out late last night. I got to see my loverly Aujalyn boys. God I love them. And OOOOOOOOOH, I fell in love with Fists of Phoenix. They are some sweet boys!!!
