I watched the last Late Night With Conan O'Brien last night and got a little teary, mostly because he was getting choked up. Then Will Ferrell grinded him in a green speedo then I got choked up.
The lesson I learned was that coffee frozen yogurt is not a replacement for coffee ice cream. You would think the notion of tangy coffee would be obvious to anyone that it will be unpleasant, but sometimes you can be blinded by hope and love in the matters of frozen desserts.
I had originally planned to get some coffee creamer, the flavoured kind, but realized that there is the same amount of calories in coffee ice cream as fat free creamer AND provides dual consumability. Unless you enjoy drinking coffee creamer, which is kind of gross and you probably shouldn't admit to that. I did once put it in soymilk to make it taste better, that wasn't so bad.
I am going to get some bananas, apple sauce and vanilla later, when I go buy coffee ice cream, and attempt some oatmeal raisin cookies sans eggs from scratch. Oh, I should probably get raisins too. Which means I'll probably be back to buy a tube of cookie dough an hour later.
I haven't seen Don Cherry, thankfully, or Peter Mansbridge, but there are a lot of hockey players around, particularly hanging around the grocery store. I wonder if they are selling cookies.
