Sins of the Father, Sins of the Son

He hasn't slept well since the news.

Ra' al Ghul's Plague is missing.

Connor has taken it hard. He still blames himself for the Plague, as his DNA was used as one of the ingredients. Unlike the others, Connor gave without a fight. As far as he's concerned, it means his hands are coated in blood. Learning of his role in it all zapped his will to survive. Only the fact the Youth Center was full of dying children kept him up as long as it did.

And though there's no suspect, Connor keeps wondering if Light may be involved. The man is just crazy enough, and just cruel enough to inflict his percieved grievances on millions of innocents.

And if it IS Light, then it's likely revenge for what the JLA did - what Dinah, Hal, and his father voted against doing, but still complied with in the end. A rape for a rape.

Sleep has not come easily for the young Arrow, and what sleep does come is beset with nightmares and memories of a stifling August heat and the smell of death.

That's why he will look so out of sorts on com duty, his blonde hair stringy and two days of stubble giving him an appearance eerily similar to Ollie or Roy when they almost, but not quite, have hit bottom.
