The Joker is back in Arkham, and maybe this time, God willing, he'll stay. Harley was taken to a hospital, where she should recover thanks to his efforts and those of Ted Kord.
Deathstroke? Gone again, along with his merry men, so he can't even feel happy about the evening's work and getting Joker and a few others back into custody. Too much remains to be done. In the meantime, Batman has disappeared into the night, leaving Bruce Wayne to comfort his shareholders, speak to the press, smooth things over. Midnight is approaching, and Bruce wants to make his escape, get the Ferrari back to Wayne Manor and start poring over data from the fight.
He begs the indulgence of the media and, in private, packs the case with the Batsuit into the Ferrari's trunk, inwardly mumbling to himself.
Nights where he has to save the Joker's life are nights he really, truly hates.
