He ignores Zee slamming down the glass on the bar, the great gamble this is his territory.

"The last thing they'll be expectin' is somethin' this stupid. It'll keep em busy long enough for you all t'play rescue squad for the spear. Just don't bollocks it up, not really wantin' my guts strewn over half of north america if he catches me."

She's grumbling outloud before she even knows it.

"Something this redundant."

She draws a deep breath in through her nose before refilling the shot glass again. She's not going to react like he did, not like he did. Gee, she's gaining new mantras a lot today.

Don't get him wrong, he doesn't want to do this but like he said before it's time for something shocking and stupid to keep the others off guard.

"Needs t'be done. An out of all of you I'm the one with the record to really piss him off." Putting spells on his dad tying him to a rotting cat, making sure he was bound to hell, demon blood and a million other small crimes the Spectre would love to punish.

Bet he's feeling all kinds of self rightous about this. Bet he's thinking See? This is how I felt when you did it to me. Asshole.

Well she's pissed, yes, but she's not going to treat him like he did her. Dammit!

Granted she is leaning against the bar with her arms crossed and glaring at him.

She's looking at her Uncle and back to Rose and Fate with a perplexed look.

"You aren't even beginning to suggest what I think you're suggesting are you?"

"He is," says Fate simply, taking off his helmet and laying a reassuring hand on Gemma's shoulder. He looks very, very tired.

"And to make it worse, I know how to get the Spear."

The look on his face says he'd rather not talk about the details right now.

"You're sodding stupid Uncle John!" She's scared and angry and worried all at the same time.

"That's it, I'm helping this time. None of this stay in the tower an be safe crap. You're all out risking your lives I'm not stayin on the sidelines." She's looking rather like her Uncle at the moment.

"Using Constantine as a lightning rod for the Spectre.."

The Stranger muses on this development quietly. "The timing will have to be quite precise, John Constantine. The Spectre's wrath is swift and terrible."

Hector nods.

"I can make arrangements for the Spear. As soon as that's being handled, The Strange, Tefe and I can make arrangements to free the Spectre."

He cricks his neck. He really doesn't like this idea.

"The rest of you, and all the help you can muster, need to take the fight to Wotan. John needs to be there when the Spectre is freed, and Wotan can't catch on to the Spear's presence until the very end."

Rose nods in agreement.

"This is it, then. Possibly the last mystic battle of this age."

"No, really? Think 'e might hurt me if he gets his mitts on me?" He rolls his eyes a little.

"I'm the Constantine, drawin' trouble's what I do." He looks over at Zee and Rose.

"You've been there, feel up t'takin' me back? An nows the time if you have any of those friends in capes that want t'play with the big boys."

Hector ruffles his hair absently with his hand. He really doesn't like this plan.

"Most of the costumes have to be support. Even the most powerful won't last minutes in there. It's people like us who are properly prepared and warded."

He sneers a bit.

"And when it all comes down, leave Wotan to me."

Definately an uphappy Zee here and she closes her eyes tightly against a couple of backstabbing, betraying tears of worry. Doesn't help that just as she does so another bout of dizziness washes over her, making the scotch she just slammed get angry at her.

"You're feeling it too, then?" says Zard, for once, not snidely.

Of all of the people who could possibly relate to her at this moment, not only is it a surprise it's Zard, but it kinda doesn't help the nausea.

She takes a few slow deep breaths, swallowing a few times before nodding a little.
