CapeCon: A couple hours before opening ceremonies
The lobby is now very full: con attendees, con staff snacking on their latest energy bars as they rush around with their walkie-talkies and clipboards, hotel staff circulating with drinks or snacks. The Sundollars coffee shop across from the elevators is doing a brisk business in iced coffees and pastries. The bell captain's desk is another focal point of activity as guests wait for their luggage to be loaded and delivered to their rooms.
