GRISLY CREMATORIUM SECRET

SPECULATION WAS flying around this morning after the owner of The Fitzpatrick Family Crematorium in Blüdhaven was taken into custody last night along with his cousin, prominent state lobbyist Terry O'Banion. Police made the grisly discovery of bodies that had not been cremated as promised, but instead dumped into a lake at the rear of the property. Neighbors began registering complaints about the smell recently as the warmer weather approached, and last night police swooped in and arrested both men. It is too early to tell at this stage what level of involvement Mr. O'Banion had with the practices at the crematorium, and police remain tight-lipped, saying only that "the investigation is ongoing."

Police Captain Amy Rohrbach said today in a statement to the press that the families of those who had had loved ones entrusted to the facility within the last five months were being notified, and stated that they would be entitled to sue the family-run business for restitution and breach of contract. The city's District Attorney hinted that there was more than improper disposal of bodies under investigation, but would not give details.

The news of the arrest comes as a shock to the local community. The Fitzpatrick Family Crematorium has been in business for over fifty years... (cont. on page 3A)
