*JSA Brownstone -- Emergency Meeting*
Hector Hall is not pleased to be torn away from his research into Gemma's mystery city -- particularly for bureaucratic matters -- but when the JSA alert goes out, he makes every effort to answer it.
Evidently, President Luthor has decided to saddle the Justice Society with a government liason, and Mr. Terrific and the senior members wish to discuss how best to deal with the situation. In truth, it concerns him not at all. He remembers when Senator McCarthy pushed he and the other members of the old Justice Society to disband, rather than reveal their identitites. It was an inconvenience, at worst, and it little affected his duties. There remeained a servant of Nabu to stand for the forces of order, and so it shall be now, whatever happens with Luthor's minion.
He appears in front of the brownstone -- barred from teleporting inside by his own spell -- and stops to consider his train of thought. It was Kent Nelson who stood as Fate back then, not him. Some days, when things are hectic, the memories from Nabu's past champions mix with his own. He wonders if that should become a concern.
He enters the building and proceeds to the meeting room -- aloof as always, deep in thought.
