Lois smells deeply of the roses and has them settled on her desk as she leans the card against the vase. "I'd give anything to show it to Lex, too," she grins, flexing her fist before resuming work.

Lois regards the subpeona for a long second and then grins evilly. "Yeah, and up yours too, Mr. President," she mutters before calling the paper's legal department. Like hell she's going alone.
