Batman's clever -- Boston Brand didn't know how the Bat was going to get info out of Alzheimer's patient John Smith, but he didn't expect him to pass the case off to someone else.
"Ah, well," says Boston, although no one can hear him. "Should be interesting."
Deadman's been shadowing the whole case, prevented from giving information by the "discovery by human hands" restriction. He's followed Batman talking to Firebrand and Bulletman, and now here he is, watching Jim Gordon talk past the manicured lawn and up the steps Shady Lawns, on Fawcett City's Kirby Street.
He hovers over the detective, glaring at the ghosts that inevitably float around a joint like this.
"Keep it down, guys! This is important!"
