Thanksgiving Day, Wayne Manor-style

Guests would be arriving any minute, if his watch is right - and of course it's right - and Bruce isn't ready. He's still leaning against the shower wall, hot water beating on the muscles still stiff and already purpling from an encounter six hours earlier with Killer Croc. He had escaped from jail long enough to terrorize the northern side of Gotham, and stopping him, as usual, proved time-consuming, difficult, and less than pleasant.

Thanks to the shower and his general feeling of being run over by a truck, he doesn't even hear the arrival of his adopted son, his daughter-in-law, and his grandchild.
