Rattled from driving New-Wave off, Firebrand takes stock of the situation: Several heroes have pushed ahead -- Mid-Nite, Tazmanian Devil, Green Arrow, Huntress, Hal Jordan

Merlynne realizes with more than a bit of fear that Enchantress seems to be giving Alan quite the time. She's sure the other mage is several times more prepared than her, but maybe with some help she and Alan could overpower Enchantress with numbers.
This thought is still in her mind as she incants a spell that sends a dozen invisible daggers of pure cold to attack Enchantress. They leave no puncture wounds, only a feeling of crippling cold and stabbing pain.
After some significant magics, Enchantress manages to keep Alan Scott at bay with a spell that is force-feeding his own Starheart energy back into itself in a loop. It won't STOP him, but it should slow him down enough for her to deal with...
...the daggers that just pierced her.
"Hello, there baby girl." Enchantress smiles. Come to play?
Crap. Whatever this woman is doing to Alan has him distracted, which gives her the chance to focus her full attention on Merlynne; and she really, really doesn't like that.
Along with the dagger, Merlynne summons a strong wind, hoping to knock Enchantress off her feet. Maybe it'll be enough to give Alan some recovery time. If not... well...
"Oh, you're so clever!" Merlynne rolls her eyes, glancing quickly at Firebrand to make sure she's okay. She wants to panic, but she knows if she doesn't keep her cool this woman will easily wipe the floor with her.
"No avada kedavra. I never learned death magic, mostly for the fact that I'm not a raving psychopath." She cups her hands as she incants, pressing them in on each other until they're a tight fist. Walls of purple light encase Enchantress, closing in around her, the air quickly becoming thin.
Merlynne realizes Firebrand is struggling. Trying to focus on her without taking her eyes off of Enchantress for too long, she incants in an attempt to dispel the magic surrounding Firebrand.
Thanks to Alan, Sand's reformation time was much shorter than it could have been. He comes to...just in time to see Merlynne slammed against a wall, her mouth seemingly sealed shut.
Enraged, Sand shifted downward...then up right in front of Enchantress. "Leave her ALONE!!!!!!" Sand screamed, and as he shifted into his sand form, he poured himself directly down the throat of the Enchantress.
OK, there were starting to be enough of them that they were coming in waves. This did not please the Enchantress one bit. "OFF!!!" she yelled, and immediately a black disk opened behind Sand. She then funneled Sand out of her and into the disk...where it promptly shut.
That was ther distraction Firebrand needed to escape. Her will propels the flame against her prison, bursting it, and she flies at the Enchantress, trading fire blasts for a good right hook.

She faces Merlynne. "So what's next, child? The avada kedavra?"

If she burns out. It frustrates her that she doesn't know.

Yes, she can still breathe, but kiss all of her spoken spells goodbye.
Enchantress then goes for the obvious, sending a telekinetic wave right at Merlynne that smashes her against a nearby wall.

She sees that the others are busy with opponents except for D-Bomb. He looks like he's spoiling for a fight, she's happy to give him one.
