She isn't home and it doesn't look like she has been for days. Breaking and entering is easy. It's just a standard condo in Burbank. Poison ivy doesn't even know who it belongs to outside of some member of the Titans and not even one she has an particular irritation towards other than the fact she works with people she hates. Harley seems to know about this Flamebird person than she does. She's not going to ask about the proverbial going into a room and shooting a stranger. All of this feels creepy, and Pamela Isley gave up be creeped out a very long time ago.
Sabotage the secured door out front. Short out a few security cameras with sap pods. Make her way up to the penthouse apartment.
When she got in she was expecting trophies on grand display. Aren't all so-called heroes hunters in the end? There's only a few olympic medals, tastefully displayed. The ring is strange sort of guidance ignores them. It directs her to a frame over a computer terminal. It's a new computer, but nothing fancy. Nothing heroic. It has elegant calligraphy, but it's obviously it's from a place that makes thousands of these a quarter. It's a nursing degree made out to a one "Bette Kane."
A nurse. How quaint. she'd like to sneer, but she knows well how undervalued such positions are in a patriarchal world. It was hard enough to study biology without someone thinking she was there for nursing in her undergrad years. She had resented it. Then there was Woodtrue and feeling sick for months with the changes he put her through. The nurses had actually been kind. She still takes it and dislodges a picture as she does. Any doubts she was in the wrong apartment vanish. A cute blonde stands between two "out," Titans in the picture - the green Beast Boy has a friendly arm around her and the flamboyant Arsenal is kissing her cheek...
She stuffs the picture and degree in a bag, sensing that they are some sort of matching set, takes the medals and few other trinkets she finds and prepares to go.
