Update on the civilian blockade of Themyscira.
A few days ago we brought you a story about one family that was protesting the custody situation of Lyta Milton and the Amazons of Themyscira by forming a one boat blockade of the island. Well as you can imagine it was an impossible situationto blockade anything with a single boat on the ocean.
But things are changing. The Varnadoe-Cates family has been joined by several other civilians with their own vessels and they are getting much more organized about the blockade. Coordinating with radios they are starting to get noticed by vessels heading to the island. Some say it's because of their foolish tactics against much larger ships but the protestors say they are observing the rules of safety while at the same time doing the best they can to keep other vessels from arriving or departing from Themyscira.
Should be interesting to see how this develops over the upcoming holiday.
