They are a world unto themselves. The Wittoto shamanic tradition teaches that it is were the gods walk and the wise among them often travel the roads of dream to seek guidance and portents of things to come. Oracles use them as guides and advisors. The aborigines of Australia’s Dreamtime know the realm well. He has known and befriended many native cultures that live in harmony with the world and from them he has learned many skills. Now he seeks to use one of them. If one were to examine his sleeping form, he would appear as being in a deep sleep. In a sense this is true, but it is also more. Confined to a room of concrete, his sources of information are limited in the physical world, so he frees himself from his body and treads the road of sleep.
