Dr. Fate returns to his body and realizes he's broken into a cold sweat. He wipes the moisture from his forehead, pours a glass of ice water the Richards' were kind enough to leave, and prepares himself for a journey of a different sort.
He sits cross-legged on the floor, and relaxes his mind, and then his body.
Slowly, his conscious mind recedes, and he slips into a dreaming state. He doesn't know if this world touches his Dreaming, but he suspects it does, if tangentially.
He says nothing, but makes instead projects his need across realities into the Dreaming, searching for eith either Nightstar or Dream.
