*Everyone was assembled in the briefing room. Caleb’s given everyone all the information at his disposal about the Al Koyet, and at the same time done his best to impress upon his team the sense of urgency that the situation calls for. *
*He isn’t scared, though. They’re about to ambush a soul stealing assassin sent by someone fairly prominent in the infernal hierarchy, and yet he isn’t scared. Pensive, cautious, yes. But not scared. He knows what most of his team is capable of, even if he hasn’t seen it first hand. His team- it still felt weird thinking like that. One second he’s raising the alarm with Mr. Terrific, and now he’s the leader of superhero expeditionary force.*
“The spell is up, but remember that it won’t last more than, at most, a few hours.” *The spell he’s referring to allows everyone to see through mystical illusions - such as the glamour that the demon hid behind to prevent Jay from noticing him on recon.* “Please exercise proper caution, though. After all, it, uh … it is in downtown Gotham City.”
*There’s a quiet moment before Caleb turns to Jay and continues.* “I’ll teleport us in, if you can be so kind as to return to Gotham and radio in his exact location.”
