Kyle had been unable to get away from the stadium site for a couple of hours. It had taken everything he knew to keep the poor athlete alive and breathing before the paramedics and doctors could arrive. Even when they got there, they had been unable to rush over to work on the victim. The risk of contamination to great.
Protected by his ring, he had stayed to do what he could to keep the crowd calmed and nosy people away. One of the hazmat men on site had told him that a chemical blister agent had been sprayed out of the football and into the lungs of the athlete. Luckily; he would live, though the horrible blisters in his lungs had nearly caused him to 'dry drowned'. The only other person effected had been the little boy whose hand had broken out in blisters. Still they went by the book and decontaminated the whole group.
Once the police and paramedics had full taken control of the scene, Kyle gave a wave and took to the air. He had heard the kid's description of the guy who gave him the ball, and was determined to find him. Hoping he hadn't escaped to far yet.
