Aurora gets up and ladles out a bowl for Donna. "Sure thing."

She brings it over, then gets a look - a good look at Donna's face. Both times she's been at the Tower, Donna's been out. After the Olympics, it was Donna trying to get "dead" removed from her status. During and shortly after the plague, Donna was also out, one of the last heroes to be affected.

She gets a little pale and fails her attempt not to stare. After a moment, she shakes her head and hands over the bowl.

"Here you go."

"Thank you." She scans her face. "Is there something wrong?"

"It's just...this is the first time I've got a look - a really good one - at you."

She explains sheepishly. "I was at the Olympics. It was you, wasn't it? The one who called Ash and me and asked if we could sneak in?"

She nods. "Thank you," she replies, not knowing what else to say.

"Actually, thank you," she says. "I was glad to help, just it's a little boggling to finally talk to you. That call...changed so much for me."

She can't help but take a look for Gar. He's over at the chili line, loading up. Can't blame him. Shapeshifting is as bad as a five-mile hike.

A smile comes across her face. "Oh...so your the reason he's that happy now." she says cocking a head towards Gar. "You realize that if you break his heart you'll have an army after you?"

She's joking...sort of...kind of. Gar's track record has been...unfortunate.

"And I'm so glad he's happy. He seems to have been through so much. I mean, he blames himself for the plague, and when someone compares his ex-girlfriend to Darth Vader, it really can't be good."

"First thing I remember about him was his smile. that, and how he treated the horse right. Gar's got a beautiful heart, and I'll be careful with it. Promise." She crosses her heart with her finger for good measure.

The sisterly smile is up in force. "Then it shouldn't be a problem."

"The other thing is that, between the plague, the Olympics, and dating Gar...Well, half the folks I've talked to at this party have assumed I've joined the Titans already. I've had to tell them otherwise, but..." She straightens. "Maybe, if you guys have room, I wouldn't mind it becoming the truth."

I'm not exactly sure who approves that now. From what i understand there's some restructuring going on. I'm still on leave and will be for a bit. I suggest talking with Vic - Cyborg and Starfire. They really are holding the fort now."
