Looking over his shoulder for a minute he almost seems to ignore the first question totally.

Don't you have work to do? But knowing Tim might get the wrong idea he still answers the question. Speed is good and altitude high enough to cut some time. Close to two hours until we arrive.

Nightwing's got it all in hand right now. He told me to come up here, ask you to give Oracle a status report.

Understood. I'm giving Oracle instruction of our progress and situation as it happens. She already knows what needs to be prepared and our ETA.

A pause as he seems to gauge Tim by his presence without looking to him. Something you want to say to me?

Sure. I'll bring you both, since the coffee'll dehydrate you as well as keep you awake.

And he's gone. He returns a few minutes later with the drinks, and an energy snack bar.

I'll need you to keep my updated on the Bat's condition so I can inform Oracle of any changes and needed equipment or supplies. Also stop. I can feel your nerves boucing around over here.

You think perhaps you ought to pay less attention to what I'm doing then, if it's bothering you so much? I'm a hell of a lot calmer than I was before we took off.

Tim blinks. Then he follows suit and takes his own mask off. It was beginning to itch anyway.

Otherwise...well. I'd like to go back to the mundane stuff for a while. It's been an overwhelming few weeks.

Catch a cat nap. Bruce is stable and I'm flying us in as fast and safely as this thing will allow. You'll help better if you can be aware. The slightest of grins just barely shows. Plus a growing boy needs his rest.

When we get back I'm going back out on patrol. I have a few things to take care of out of town I think as well. But I'll be around more or less. An extra body. I think it'll be acceptable for you to have some down time.

We'll see about the downtime. I think Bruce is going to be out of commision for a while.
