Selina is currently asleep next to the bed Alfred is in. There is a book, Winne-The-Pooh open and in her lap. It looks like she was reading to him before she fell asleep. Of course, she's probably... well... sick.
Cracking the door open slightly more, Red seeing this other person in the room , as him raise a sharp brow. Something about her seems familier but due to lack of sleep, the plague tearing his insides up, and the general physical damage to his body, it does not click.
Selina makes a small noise at the disturbance to the room but at the moment doesn't yet wake. She shifts in the chair a bit, turning and giving him a profile.
He already made his way in seeing he was worried about Alfred, not that he'd say so to anyone. He catches the profile and then it springs to his mind. He's a bit ashamed that he recalls her more from the files he's collected, but there is no mistaking it.
As the book comes down, a bending down and hand open, Red catches the book wishing not to disturb Alred.
The movement of the book brings her awake, moving for it before her eyes are entirely open. The ache in her joints is horrible at this point and the quick movement is almost enough, to cause her to make a sound.
Of course, at this point, she knows who is sleeping in the bed as well.
Her eyes open a little widely at seeing she's not alone, a small frown on her face. She's not about to start a fight since getting in here is... well... difficult but.. She's wary.
Taking the mask from his face, he looks down at Alred with those sad and heavy eyes. Breathing in slowly, he shakes his head then pulls the covers a bit more up on Alfred so carefully. He's barely even noticing that anyone else is in the room until he turns to her.
Handing the book over to her, Red gives a slight head nod to speak outside of the room seeing she's wondering what exactly is going on.
Selina stands up and looking at her he can tell that the plague is getting to her. She's stiff and slow but it looks like there are other injuries there as well.
She slips outside the room and looks toward him with an arched brow, hands on her hips.
Slowly and carefully closing the door behind him, Jason finally looks over to Selina seeming unimpressed. Though that more to the fatigue and how he's generally looking at everyone.
He starts to walk off but speaks as he does. He has to bandage himself up and figures if she really wants to know what's going on she'll follow. Though one way or the other he starts. "Selina. You seem to be well. You're wondering who the hell I am. Jason Todd. Yes I know. Jason Todd is supposed to be dead. I'm not. Not the first person to come back from the dead. Yadda yadda yaddo."
Selina blinks at him as he speaks to her and yes, she does follow him. "Okay." She pauses for a few moments and presses her lips together. She's not sure what to say to that, honestly.
"He was just a kid. How's he so much older? He looks like he's at least early thirties or late twenties." He would almost roll his eyes to that as he starts downstairs. "The Pit. Ra brought me back in it. No memory. He trained me for years. I was supposed to assassignate the Bat. It was supposed to be poetic."
He slows some from observing Selina wasn't to her peak. "My mind was fractured and I was damn sick. I was the Red Hood. The group found out I had no soul. One soul put in body. Boom. I see everything I did and for the first time felt it all and saw every face. Trail was thrown out. Now I'm going around as Red Robin."
Turning around but still moving, Jason scans over Selina. "Anything else you're wondering?"
"Were you always such a cynical bastard or did that come with coming back to life?" Selina follows him still, trying not to cough as she moves along with him. Even with the protections she has, she's still really sick.
It doesn't speak well to her survival had she not had the protections.
"Ghetto rat kid that jacked the rims and wheels from the batcar." Acts like he's thinking of it. "Yeah. Pretty much been like this ever since I can think."
Finally he starts to make his way down to the BatCave. He keeps in total silence and then out of nowhere, "So why the hell are you here?"
"Don't think he's really proud that a kid jacked his ride with all the gadgets he had on it. Think that's why he wanted me to be Robin."
Down down down they go and finally entering the Cave. He seems to be looking around for something and knows that much has changed while other things haven't. Where would the... medical equipment. There. "That doesn't sound like the Bat. I'd have thought he'd've put you in a safehouse or something like that before bringing you here."
Selina follows him and starts pulling things out to help him with the medical part of things. She's a bit better oriented with the Cave at the moment, apparently.
She pauses and then shakes her head, "Trust me. I'm here because he wants me here." There doesn't seem to be a good way to say that they're sleeping together. It isn't dating. Not really. The word isn't enough.
Looking slightly to the side he notices what she's doing and gives a curt nod. "Thanks."
Finally he takes off the jacket that serves as protection and intimidation. Under it he starts undoing the body armor that is kevlar though filled with well placed plates as well. The starts of a hole is seen around the abdomen of it as it falls off. Soon the shirt off of it. A rather large bruise can be seen to line up where the hole would be on the body armor.
On Red's back is a bandage that's crimson stained. He looks over his shoulder to check it and starts to undo the wraps holding it in place. Other bruises and cuts are noticable though he seems not so worried about them. "So you and he are fu-... ahem. You two are sleeping with each other." Blunt as always.
