Still, Athena sits in her seat, Nike still at her side, calmly watching the battle raging below her. Occasionally her eyes narrow and her lips move, though what she is whispering is not audible to Nike.

Wally just sneers at Thawne.

"No, it's not fair, Thawne. But it'll be really freakin' satisfying."

But his uncle Barry's words are taken to heart. Yes, makes sense. Barry's already... dead. He glances to Bart and just nods. "Got it," is his only response... and then he's off, starting a whirlwind underneath Zoom... while at the same time forming a whirling speed cannon with one arm, picking up scattered rock debris and launching it through the cannon at Zoom - bombarding him with an upward avalanche...

*takes off in the opposite direction to Wally, forming a similar rock and debris funnel...*

*...with his entire body*

Zoom easily begins deflecting all the rocks easily, switching to his legs for his downward whirlwind. Every so often he snatches a particularly sharp rock out of the air and throws it back at the punk kids trying to down him - just to show that he can.

Geez, Allen! You sure these kids are related to you? They sure don't have your brains - course I suppose I could always check...

Barry runs and jumps, kicking at the air for extra height.

Geez, Allen - did you go senile on this side of the grave or does your punk grandkid just really take after you?

Zoom begins vibrating as Barry approaches him to become intangible.

It's almost as if the two speedsters, negative mirrors of each other, are hanging in the air - if you've got the speed to follow their conversation, which only the Flashes and Zoom do.

Flash Fact, Zoom - if two objects are vibrating at the same rate, they can come in contact with each other!

Barry begins vibrating as well - and with his experience it's easy to match Zooms rate down to the microhertz. His fist collides with Zoom's jaw, and the yellow-clad villain's head reels back, his whirlwind abating as he falls to the ground, slightly groggy...

Damn... Barry was always so much better at this than he was. Wally doesn't waste the opportunity, though.

In a flash, he's got a kick in to Zoom's gut... and then as Thawne bends over, Wally wraps his arm around his neck and slaps his back... before delivering a vicious DDT headfirst into the earth.

A backflip later, he's in a defensive position again...

...as Bart aims a double kick to Zoom's gut, not giving him the chance to recover.

Zoom coughs up blood, but he's still grinning. Bart didn't move away fast enough.

Faster than he ever moved while alive, Zoom rushes Bart, grabs him - and then stops short. His momentum continues on with Bart, though...

sending Bart flying at a sharp, pointed outcropping of rock.

Whoa, that's fast. Undead fast.

Oh, sh-

Faster than the speed of thought, Wally's leaves a small flame on the ground behind him as he races ahead and jumps to shove Bart out of the way just before he hits the jagged edge, but the angle's wrong, and it leaves a deeply-scraped gouge across Wally's back.

After a pained shout, he falls to his knees, trying to push past it, eyes closed to focus...

Quicker than thought, Zoom is there, and grabs Wally in the classic hostage pose - his left hand vibrating an inch from Wally's temple, and now he's constantly shifting his vibratory pattern so Wally can't compensate...

HEY, ALLEN? REMIND YOU OF ANYBODY?

Barry looks anguished...

...but suddenly Bart can hear Barry speaking. In his mind. Which, technically, isn't a super-speed power...

*Bart. When I give you the signal, you get Wally away from him. Zoom is mine.*

*blinks astonished for a nanoseccond, then nods and thinks "Okay, Grampa" very very hard*

THAT'S RIGHT, ALLEN! YOU JUST STAND THERE WHILE I DO YOUR KID!

The vibrating palm gets closer...

Wally's in a hell of a lot of pain... but hearing his uncle in his head... that's a calming influence, no matter how unprepared for it he is. After a moment, he responds.

*I know you do, Barry. Don't be gentle.*
