Ted's phone rings. The private one. Caller ID is blocked.

Blinks and frowns but answers the call. "Hello?"

[_darkknight_]

"Secure?" The growling voice is one of a kind.

[laughing_mage]

Well secure except for the mystical tap John has on all the parties involved. That includes Ted. Maybe this will answer some questions and relieve some bordome.

"Secure."

[_darkknight_]

Where to start? "Where are you on the search for Sue and McIntyre?" Since he knows that has to be what Ted's doing, probably with Ralph.

[laughing_mage]

"Oh we're lookin' for our asses with both hands an comin' up with bollocks. Know who the bad guys are, want t'come and pound on em a bit?" one can tell he's smiling from his voice.

The sound isn't returned. Batman doesn't seem extremely fond of Constantine. "Tanner Kae," he responds in an icy tone, "is chief suspect."

[laughing_mage]

"Right, 'cept it ain't Tanner Kae. It's a bloke named Tannerak, you know one of those mystic buggers you seem to like so much. An he's workin' with Hayden. Was usin' Felix Faust but I doubt he's part of the big plan, he's more your small bug to use an get squashed type."

Still amused.

I hate this guy. "What else do you know?" he demands.

[laughing_mage]

"I know that like I told you before Hayden can change reality now so we might want t'talk him out of it. Tannerak shoots an energy beam and tends to vamp energy off off people. And Hayden's crazy as you get so it ought to be an interestin' encounter."

Bruce's jaw works a moment as he forces himself to be patient. "Ideas to whereabouts?"

[laughing_mage]

"That stretchy fellow is workin' on it. Got his knickers in a bunch since his wife is with 'em." he grins to himself.

"Now you wouldn't want to be leavin' an not takin' me to the big finish now would you?"

"Get off this line. Beetle, do you still copy?"

[laughing_mage]

Soft but still clearly audible.

"Wanker."

The line isnt let go but he's quiet.

"Still here. Just waiting for the Brit to stop babbling."
