Sitting with the Graysons for dinner had been... amusing; he supposed it only remained as such with Lady Shiva as company. It was welcomed, though as much as he appreciated her being the date of the night, Vic Sage did indeed have business to attend to.
He did stop by the occasional person, making a casual inquery and playing along as a newscaster. In all honesty, though, he had not been a television journalist in a few years. He hadn't even considered it much lately, though there were times he missed it. Vic wanted to tell people the truth, the absolute truth, and put a stop to corruption. It was difficult, though, after... some unfortunate events. He had stopped being Vic Sage for a few years.
Regretful, maybe.
Parting with his dance partner temporarily - not that Shiva would have any problems on her own; she was a grown woman and the most independent he'd ever known - Vic had gone on his way to find Ted.
Not without picking up a fork from a dining table along the way. You never knew these days. He slipped it into his pocket.
"Ted," was a very kind sounding greeting from him, utterly calm and... sane sounding. Either this was a Vic from another dimension, or he was just being a particularly good actor for the night. "Unstressful evening, I'm hoping."
That was indeed his main hope. Or he'd be wasting a good fork later.
