Forgive me for not writing you earlier; Hugo and I have been busy with childbirth classes.
You had asked me for any news about the Joker. As I told Oracle Monday, we had a request from the warden of Alcatraz, asking permission for a US marshal to visit us here at the Tower. You can ask her for a copy of the file she sent us on this Jack Slater. I can also tell you he admired my garden, and even that dog of Kon's likes him.
Before he left yesterday, he received a very strange message, that his agency had been removed from the Joker case in favor of the Secret Service and the FBI. Is this a common thing?
