Monitor duty is a great time to do laundry. And there's always are extra socks. And what else could Ted do with socks besides make sock puppets of various League members? He thinks the green one looks very much like J'onn. Only with less lint.

The ugly black sock he uses for Batman because he can.
"Batman, I'll have to wash out your mouth with soap if you keep talking about Diana that way."
He contemplates using the grey stinky sock for Guy only he doesn't want to touch it. He thinks either Eel or Booster must have left it in there. Damn them. Or maybe it's Ollie's.
Yeah, Ted's four years old. Luckily no one else is around to witness it.
