it's like Guy is having physical pain saying this..
"..he covered for me and pretended to torture me to convince the others I was in pain...but he didn't realy..and he said stuff only The Bat would know..and..."
His face reddens..
"That damn good for nuthin double crossin FINK!!! Batman is freakin Lex Luthor!!!"
"Guy... Guy, calm down. Sweetie... calm DOWN!" When it looks like his head might explode from anger, Tora places her extremely cold hands on his face, forcing him to look at her.
"Are you sure? It wasn't some sort of hallucination, or something that Gleen did to you?"
Leave it to her to have bad timing when it came to making a social entrance. "Hey, you're awa-.." she came to a halt as she picked up on the tension, her eyes widening a bit as her brows lifted, "..and I'm intruding."
"I was on the..table, and Lex comes up an' smack talks the other badguys. He shame's 'em outa tha room an' then in tha middle 'o making loud threats, he stoops down to my ear and tells me real quite ta scream like he's endin me. I tell him where ta stick it and then he hits me with 'one punch' jokes real quite again and gives me.. that look! You know, the look the Bat gives that makes worms sweat?"
It sounds so damn stupid when he says it out loud, and that pisses him off even more.
Arisia's voice is audible in the room, even though she hasn't moved from the corner where she's meditating. There is a steady even double thrum of green energy around her.
"Please try to calm down. I am still fixing you." She's attempting to replicate her own regenerative abilities in his body and it only sort of works.
"Listen to your doctor, Guy. Please." Tora strokes his hair, trying for something, ANYTHING, to make that vein in the middle of his forehead stop popping out.
"I'm sure that there's a perfectly logical reason for it. Perhaps we should speak with Superman, or one of the others that were there?"
Her eyes went from Guy...who seems to have gotten hit one too many times in the head...to Arisia, Ice then back to Guy as she planted her hands on her hips.
"Luthor is not Batman." She knows. Not that she could say who really is, but she would shoot this down now, thank you!
Sitting up suddenly....ow..bad idea. Gingerly lying back down then...
"Holy Crap!!! I just remembered..."
