He added, bowing his head a little, remembering the town on the gulf that was attacked by Typhoon. "But we did win." Scarab said, looking back up.

"Almost a year, and boy has it been one HELL of a year." Jaime says shaking Superboy's hand. "Also, just asking, is it normal for supervillains to show up when you do anything? Every time I have a date or a party, some idiot decides it's time for a crime-spree." Scarab asks annoyedly, "Seriously, my now ex-girlfriend and I broke up because of that. Whenever we tried to just be together, Parasite decides to go steal stuff." He continued, and then he stopped, realizing he was ranting, "Sorry, bit angsty I guess." He apologized with a chuckle.

"Well, Texas isn't all that far from Kansas. The Flashes sometimes swing down that way to fight bad guys, but yeah, I hear it's kinda sparse down there."

Flamebird seems to have come from the same place Robin did. Who would have thought someone with a costume so loud could be so sneaky?

Ok , sort of obvious, but that's Superboy for you. Besides, the Kents were big on proper manners and introductions where in order.
