After the Sinserto attack everybody was licking their wounds, including Team Arrow. With Oliver doing his bit in helping Star City as a candidate for Mayor, his boys were helping out anyway they could as civilians or heroes

And Donna's there, with a bag of sandwiches in hand.

"Turkey, ham, or pastrami?"

"Turkey!" Lian says, who's currently wrapped around Donna's back. She slides down before rushing over to give Roy a hug, "We got chips and soda too!"

Juice for her though, of course.

Connor was Digging out a pumpkin on the kitchen table, a platter next to him already filed with what lian had already dubbed its "brains". The archer was nursing a black eye that was in the process of healing and a good sized gash on his arm that was sutured closed from one of his own arrows. Other than that it was the usuall cuts and bumps one would expect from a large battle.

" Taking up the carving or do you want me to do the honors" Connor asked as he gave his brother a light hearted smile. He wasn't going to say anything about not eating meat in terms of the sandwhiches, one could survive on chips and soda.

"Oh I think this one's all yours Connor." He said as he turned and crouched in time to catch the speeding four-year-old.

Roy picked her up and spun her round, a huge smile on his face as he did it it even though his muscles were protesting at the movement, they hadn't quite healed from the attack just yet.

"Well looks like no cooking for us, but what did you get for Uncle Connor? Or does he have to eat the pumpkin's brains?"

Lian looks over at Donna and raises an eyebrow.

"We did get something for Uncle Connor, right Mommy?"

Donna pulls another sandwich out of the bag.

"Eggplant parm," she says, tossing it over to Connor, "Nice and hot too." She walks over to Roy, giving him a kiss on the cheek before walking over to the table with the pumpkins, "Hey there Pumpkin Master."

"Anyone home?"

Mia's entered the house, a pot of chili (vegetarian, for Connor, but still just as spicy) in her arms.

She makes her way to the kitchen, a wide grin on her face.

"Hey everyone," she says, placing the chili on the kitchen table, "Hope you don't mind but," she makes a motion with head to the person standing behind her, "I bought someone along with me."

Mia pushes a lose strand of hair behind her ear, "For those of you that don't know, this is my boyfriend, Zachary Zatara." She turns to Zach, giving him a wink, still flashing that grin, "World's greatest teen magician."

Sure enough, Zach was walking in behind her. Out of his usual tux, but still dressed nicely. Well, as nice as you'd dress for scooping out pumpkin innards anyway.

"Nice to meet you all."

Unable to supress his instincts to work the crowd, he goes right for Lian. "Hey there, you must be Lian." He crouches down and smiles. "Mia told me all about you."

Lian smiles and extends a hand to Zach. "She did? Aunt Mia told me all about you too! She's right, you are are 'hot'!"

She peers over and looks at Mia, "Is he going to help carve pumpkins too?"

Mia nods, laughing nervously. "Yeah kiddo," she says, "He's going to help us carve pumpkins too."

She walks over to Lian, ruffling her hair. "Don't you go getting ideas and try and steal him from me now, okay?"

Donna waves to Zach. "Nice to meet you Zach," she says, going over to the cabinet to pull out the bowls for the chili, "I'm Donna...we met before when you tried out for the Titans. Briefly."

Zach turns and smiles at Mia, looking rather smug. He then looks up at Donna. "Yes, I remember. I believe I saw you during the Sinestro affair as well."

His attention goes back to Lian, as he holds up an empty palm, flexes his fingers open and shut, and then is holding a coin. "Would you like to see a trick before we get started on the pumpkins?"

Lian sticks her tongue out at Mia. "I won't."

She then turns back to Zach, nodding her head eagerly. "Sure!"

"So you brought the wizard, you sure that's wise?" Roy asked praying to all the Gods and Goddess' that he could think of that Ollie wouldn't show up unannouced as well.

He walked over to take the pots from Mia as he kept an eye on what Zach was doing with Lian before turning the stove on to keep the chillies warm.

"So how's it going with him?"

Zach rolled his eyes, but otherwise ignored the comments from the uppity redhead. "Okay, watch close..." He pushed up his sleeves, then held up the coin again, rolling it over his knuckles until it plopped into his hand. He waved his other hand over it, and then his palm was empty. He then held out both his open palms towards Lian, put on a big confused expression, and shrugged.

Mia ignores Roy's first comment.

"He's fine, busy with his campaign and everything. He sends his best and says that he's sorry he can't make it."

She turns her attention back to Zach and Lian, watching with a smile on her face.
