Leaning against the wall, arms crossed, ankles crossed, is a broad-shouldered, athletic figure in reinforced spandex. The smile he wears is a mix of bemusement and warmth.
His presence was noted as he came in several minutes ago, but as he has yet to make a move, she continues to read aloud. If anything, his presence helps. She finds herself more embarrassed, to be sure, but also more comfortable. She is not sure she knows why, or if she could explain it even had she the words. But he helps.

With one finger marking her page, she lets the book close for a moment and allows her breathing to return to normal. She closes her eyes for a moment, and when she opens them, she acknowledges Nightwing for the first time.
