"MOLEY! These things are everywhere!" CM3 shouts before being hoisted aloft, and tossed over the bleachers.

The entire middle section of Fawcett High's student section has manifested a nasty surprise. A platoon of iron goblins from the land of Shurra Garoth emerge from their wormhole and lay waste to the seating.

"We've got to contain this! If we only had another pair of hands here, Cap!"

While Mary's experienced teleportation before, that doesn't mean that her stomach doesn't have to like it.

Somehow, she keeps her lunch in. Probably because she doesn't want to barf all over the guy that's helping her and Freddy out of a rough spot.

A rough spot, that Freddy probably got himself into.

She's not even halfway to where CM3 when her and Zach are mobbed by goblins.

"What did you do?!" she shouts, aiming a punch a goblin that's launched itself towards her.

Zach's eyes widen slightly in surprise as he arrives, but it only takes him a few moments of dodging before he recognizes the beasts, and how to handle them.

"Noitpmusnoc yb tsur!" He launches a magical blast from his wand, striking goblin hurling itself at Mary. Eat that, metallics.

Mary gives Zach a quick wave from where she's kicking another goblin away from her.

"Thanks!"

She flings another one in the direction of the wall.

"I don't KNOW!" CM3 is in the midst of clanging two of the goblins together when backup arrives.

"And what took YOU so long anyway? I've been here trying to keep...and who's THAT?" He gives one last noggin crash before dropping the attackers.

"I was...busy elsewhere!" She gives another goblin a kick, "CM3, Zachary Zatara, Zachary Zatara, CM3!"

After this is all said and done, they can go downtown for ice cream or something. Right now, there's goblins to smash.

There's a few loud pops from the displacement of air as Zach teleports himself around the area, firing off more rust spells to corrode the goblins into nothingness. He appears next to CM3. "World's Greatest Teenage Magician, at your service."

He raises his wand, and fires a shot past CM3's ear to take out one trying to sneak up on him. He smirks as it dissolves. "Call it a favor." He vanishes again, to pick off stragglers.

He watches as the bolt cracks a goblin behind him, before turning to Mary. "Seriously!?"

CM3 turns his attention to the main portal, seeing an option on how to close it. "Mary! Get your buddy on the ready, I'm thinking a good Ben Franklin to shut this thing."

Mary nods and gives Freddy a thumbs-up, "Got it!"

She then turns her attention back to Zach, "You any good at redirecting lightning?"

She springs forward, leaping into the air before calling out...

"SHAZAM!"

Zach doesn't have time to question verbally, before he sees what she's doing and manages to at least get the gist of it. He whips off his hat and hurls it into the path of the oncoming bolt.

"Yrettab!" The lightning disappears into the hat, which then returns to his hand.

"Egrahcsid!" He points the hat like at the portal like a cannon, and the bolt comes back out, overloading the portal with a loud cracking noise. Zach brushes off the brim of his hat before sitting it back on his head, smirking.

"That's how it's done."

CM3 takes a look at the crater, and sniffing the air after it closes.

"Moley...Hey, I can say good work right? Although...I wouldn't think that hat's going to take much more of those."

Mary blinks a couple of times.

"Wow."

She then turns to Zach and gives him a wide, starry-eyed smile.

"That was AMAZING!"

Zach smiles, bowing. "Nothing to it. Just a matter of studying, quick wits, and a precise tongue."

He seems as if he's remembering something, and looks to CM3. "Oh, and you seemed like you were doing the best you could too."

"Ah huh. Just knowing when to call in the troops, I guess?" He crosses his arms, before glancing at a unblinking Mary. "Like I said. Great work."
