He'd managed to make the trip to Earth and back without anybody asking where he'd gone, as ordered.
He's still not sure why Lantern Gardner insisted on the secrecy, but it's not his place to question orders. Probably just covering both their asses.
Word is only now trickling down to the rookies about the raid. Sodam had at least known about it as it was happening; Gardner had told him when he gave him the order to go do a quick check on Earth. A part of him was still frustrated about not being allowed to go, but the veteran Lantern had made a very good point: he'd almost been killed in the fight with Arkillo and the raid could afford no mistakes. So instead he'd been sent on an errand-boy mission. But at least he'd done that right.
Yat finds his superior officer in the Honor Lantern barracks and comes to attention.
Sodam's voice brings him out of his head. He looks over at the young Daxamite standing at attention. The kid has tons of potential. He wouldn't have rode him so hard if he didn't. Time for the game face.
"Sir, Earth is stable and there is no evidence to support any current Sinestro Corps presence. The Justice League and Justice Society groups have both been notified to be on the alert. Shortly upon arrival I was met by a member of the Justice Society codenamed 'Jade'. She agreed to pass the message on to smaller peacekeeping forces on Earth."
He's still curious about what exactly Jade's deal is - someone with Green Lantern abilities, but no ring, and no apparent connection to the Corps. She wouldn't talk about, so he's betting on washout, but if his boss decides to let him know, he's not going to mind.
What he's really dying to ask about is the raid, but Yat knows better than to question a superior Lantern. Gardner would have him flying laps around Oa so fast his head would spin.
Soranik sighs. "The Weaponer is infected with the virus Despotellis." She rubs her temples, "I want to do full examinations on everyone that participated in the Qward raid...I want to contain the virus before it spreads...."

Hal smiles a little as he enters - though the effort at humor is half-hearted.

She's been in the medical ward all day, examining the ill Weaponer that had been captured on their raid of Qward.
"Did I miss something?" she asks, folding her arms over her chest and cocking an eyebrow.
