Jay is in attendance, wearing a nice, formal tuxedo instead of a costume. On his arm is Joan, his wife, in a blue formal dress that matches the shade of Jay's tie exactly.

A tie she keeps fussing with, trying to straighten out the knot.

"You always get it a little crooked when you dress too fast." she protests, but Jay only grins and shakes his head.

And it has fallen to Bart to carry in the Garrick's presents for Todd and Damon - the slightly gangly teenager managing a tall stack of boxes.

"I bet I could peek at the gifts and have'em wrapped again before anybody notices.."

A glance from Joan cuts the thought short.

Todd sees the Garrick's, and immediately has his arms around both Jay and Joan.

"Hey you. Glad you made it."

He points Bart to a table, thanking the younger speedster for his help.

"So when are you bringing him to the Society? I know Jakeem would appreciate someone else to aggravate Ma with."

"Bart's welcome to visit the Brownstone anytime he likes, he knows that. I think he's pretty content to 'hang out' with his friends in the Titans, though. For all his talking, the boy's got an introverted streak sometimes."

Standing by the table with all the gifts is another boy roughly Bart's age, looking uncomfortable in his suit. He nods to Bart as he walks up.

"They said there's supposed to be cake here. Where do you think it is?"

"Well, they normally have that after the ceremony, so it's probably locked up somewhere. Was it catered, or did somebody here make it?"

Bart looks around, clearly intrigued at the Mystery of the Wedding Cake that has presented itself.

"They said Ma didn't make it, but she makes everything. She has to have hidden it somewhere."

He considers calling the Thunderbolt out to help find it, but settles against it.

If Jakeem turned around he'd see a formally dressed Courtney, in a cute but formal pink sundress, standing behind him, grinning from ear to ear, holding a medium-sized box wrapped in white paper with a silver bow on top.

Yes, she bought the newlyweds a blender. Because what couple doesn't need a blender?

Looks like Bart just spotted Dr. Fate giving him a stern look.

Clearly, Courtney's receiving a look of equal sternness from Doctor Fate.

"Right. Because that would just be a bad idea."
