Falling into place.
Dr. Jonathan Crane walks through the door of Nevermore Detective Agency a triumphant man, his face covered with a smug crooked grin. He claps his hands together and looks at his associate, Edward Nygma, and then ushers his companion into the office. "Come, do not be shy. Edward, I would like to introduce Alice Logan. Formerly of the Gotham Gazette, and now our case writer and secretary."
Not allowing her to exchange pleasantries, he walks her to the small kitchen off the side of the office. "Tea and coffee making facilities. The restroom is across the street in Pret a Manger."
Turning back to Edward, he forgets to cover the small bloodstain on one of the lapels of his jacket. "I arrive in high spirits, m'colleague. I took a little case on the side which has been resolved to everyone's satisfaction, and will allow us to operate with a larger amount of freedom I daresay. And look at the sweet little girl we have working with us now."
