J'onn reaches over to the hatch control and opens it, allowing Jade and the rest to enter, "Welcome. Isn't that the Three Little Pigs? Another one of those disturbing children's stories that involves the maligning of a carnivorous species by anthropomorphizing it and its prey? Sometimes human storytelling confuses me."
Then to Guy, "Star Wars is easier to understand, though I find your choice of characters interesting."
"You guys are a riot," Kyle deadpans, ducking his head as he swings into the Beetle behind Guy, Jen, and Tora. Despite his tone, his mood is not quite as dark as it was when they had their initial conference on the Watchtower.
At least they're getting somewhere now, getting some answers to their questions. Hopefully, those answers will help them find their missing comrades.
"So, we've all found something. The question is, is it enough to get our people back?" he asks, looking between Beetle and J'onn.
"Pretty simple. J'onn will need to link you, Guy and Kyle to Superman telepathically. Superman's enhanced senses will let you get energy tendrils through the lattice and into the tesseract space inside. Then J'onn will need to detects the minds of those trapped within, so you can guide the tendrils to the target. Once you have hold of them, you should be able to, for lack of a better term, beam them out. Flamebird and I will monitor on the Bug's sensors, and Donna will distract the mirror ball."
"This plan sounds like something out of Star Trek and A Wrinkle in Time," Kyle replies, somewhat bewildered. All this talk about tesseracts and tendrils - it's lie 6th grade English class all over again.
Still, maybe Kal is right - this could work out better than any of them hope. Which, for Kyle, would mean some kind of apology from the glowing, faceted sphere for stealing away Beatriz. Nothing to do but try, in any case.
He looks out through the Bug's large viewport at Superman, then touches two fingers to his brow in a quick salute. Telepathically linked with Superman. "Alright, let's give this a shot," he says, looking over at Beetle, grinning.
He reaches out with his mind, finding a link with Kal El's Kryptonian consciousness. He establishes a connection easily, given the years of practice at doing so. Once he feels confident in the strength of his telepathic bridge to Superman, he opens the channel and begins sewing the other minds into the tapestry. The entire process takes seconds.
Looking at the Martian, Kyle watches J'onn's impassive face. Even when establishing a mental link, the Martina's countenance remains placid, calm. Between Kal's positive attitude and J'onn's grim determination, he's feeling world better about their chances of bringing their people home.
The link is established in his mind, and he steps out of the Bug into the sky, following Jennie. Let's bring them back, he thinks, preparing to see things the way Superman sees them.
With that, J'onn expands his awareness until he finds the mind that is the Shifting Mirror. He wonders if its curiosity will get the better of it again and allow him entrance. If not, he has prepares himself for the possiblity of a confrontation. It takes only moments to find the artifact, Greetings. I have returned to continue our discourse."
Donna makes her way the back of the Bug. Turning to Beetle, she gives him a nod of her head before heading out in search of the artifact. Part of her is curious to see what it could show, the other part is shaking at what she's about to come up against.
She's keeps her eyes peeled and her senses alert however. If she can distract it long enough to get Dick and the others back, that's all that matters.

Her fingers begin to glow with bright green light and she waggles her fingers at Ted.
