Dr. Light slams his fist on the metal table with a resounding thud, flecks of spittle flying from his mouth as he vents his outrage.
"His pack of traitors actually helped the Justice League track me down! I'll cut him into pieces so small, they'll need an electron microscope to identify the remains!"
".. The floor recognizes the esteemed Dr. Light." Sivana notes with a tinge of irony. Outrage was well and good, but there was an agenda to be fulfilled.
"We've gathered our resources - remnants of Dr. Light's Monster Society of Evil, along with a few other malcontents, in order to destroy the Justice League and humble the Secret Society."
The looming, muscular form of Wade Eiling, his brain housed in the artificial body formerly known as "the Shaggy Man", leans forward and props his elbows on the table.
"You know my position, Sivana. I want the Justice League taken down, and I don't particularly care what I have to do to get that opportunity. Slade's been holding me in reserve for so long that I'm beginning to suspect he hired me just to keep me out of his way."
"Of course he did, Eiling. Slade's not a criminal at heart. He's just a mercenary bastard. But once we cut out his heart, we can take over the Society and really do some damage."
"If our other colleagues are as enthusiastic, we can't help but succeed. The Society's been recruiting, gentlemen - some kind of changeover in their organization is coming, so we need to move fast."
He pulls a small cylinder from his pocket, clicking through to his first slide.
"The Society's weakpoints. Psychologically, Zoom is a fragile thing. Ideologically, Sinestro is at odds with the others. Mentally, Icicle should prove susceptible to telepathy. And physically, the Calculator is barely worth killing."
