LexCorp Out of Business?
Exclusive by Lois Lane
Countless employees of Lex Luthor's corporation LexCorp were unexpectedly locked out of dozens of corporate locations, including at the company's headquarters in Metropolis, because the corporation is in what a spokesperson described as "global lockdown."
The reason that Luthor and his board of directors took this course of action has not yet been made clear and efforts to contact Luthor directly have provided no answers. Unnamed sources close to the CEO, however, suggested a recent visit from Superman, Wonder Woman and other renowned global heroes inspired the decision to lock out hundreds or thousands of employees, denying them access to benefits and salaries.
Given LexCorp's history of secrecy, few of the affected employees were available or willing to speak with reporters. One accountant, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that no warning was given and no one knew how long the lockout would last. (cont'd on page 1B)
