His arms his around her well enough to help support her as they walk. It's always amazing how walking in no distinct direction does help when you feel the world collapse around you and as if your heart was torn out. That or drinking until you can't walk.

There's no simple words he can use in order to place all is well. It's about making sure that those that are still suffering and are victims have some form of healing. So as they continue into a hallway, this is only going to get worse.

It isn't just guilt. It's guilt and impotence and a hollow rage that isn't going away. It's proving him right, it's letting down Emma's family, it's letting Emma down...

This...monster inside that cell. Brainiac created copies of people for her to use. Who's to say there aren't more out there? That she won't come across another Emma, be hopeful again, and then...

She's let everyone else down, it's his turn.

That gets her focus back.

"No. You're not leaving me out of this. Even if...Even if I can't do it, you're not leaving me at home while you and everyone else saves the day. I'll take Brainiac down myself if I have to, but I'm coming with you."

She's not a person prone to emotional outbursts. She'll look back at this later and be embarassed. But for now, she's starting to get back to herself. She's getting angry again, not upset. Determined.

"Was wonderin' when that tiger was gonna come out an play." A wink is short her was with a devilish grin as well. "Jus' lettin' ya know though, on the real, ya can do whatcha gotta do, but I ain't gonna letcha do anything that'd get ya in trouble or mess ya up in the future."

She's got one last emotional outburst to get out, and then...she'll be okay. Enough, at least. She'll manage.

She moves towards Jason, opening his helmet so she can see his face.

And then her eyes are closed and her lips are on his, her lips saying everything her voice can't.

And it is enough. It speaks volumes to him as well. It wasn't an accident that he made sure to be here when the transfer was to take place. In so manner to make sure things went smoothly but in many other ways to be sure everyone else went smoothly.

It's the only kind of chivalry she'll allow him. The subterfuge of of chivalry. Protecting her by protecting others.

She supposes that alone means something about her mental state. This hasn't been easy on anyone.

She nods, and takes his hand. Her other presses to her ear, opening communication with Oracle.

"O, another favour. Can you arrange another teleport? Clocktower, this time. I'd...like to talk."

"Head to the platform. I'll enter the coordinates."

The voice in her ear is not the usual synthesized one but the warm voice of a woman she hopes is actually her friend.
