As the damage to the universe begins to accumulate, the skies of Earth take on a deep red color, as though space itself were bleeding. Strange storms begin to form, with unusually-colored bolts of lightning.

Upon teleporting into the Watchtower, Donna rushed over to where her best friend and fellow Titan was standing with Brainiac Five. "I just got in," she said, "I'm ready to do whatever it is you need me to do."

"Your powers are mystical in origin, unless I'm mistaken. That means you're going to help lead the charge against Mordru. We'll need to throw in every powerhouse we can, except the Kryptonians.."

Donna nodded, "But of course," she said with a grin and then got serious, "I'm sure we're going to need other all of the powerhouses we can get. Do you have anything along a direct plan of attack that we could put into motion?"

"Not yet. But once our mystic allies take care of Mordru's information advantage, we will."

Donna wasn't used to seeing Brainaic smile...then again Brainiac Five wasn't different than the one she was used to encountering. "I see. Just keep me posted." She then turned to Nightwing, "You ready?" she asked with a mischievous grin.

He cants his head at her, faintly amused. "Don't worry about me. I'm still here, aren't I? Worry about the mission," he replies, then looks back to Brainiac-Five and the others. "I'll go on the Legionnaire-distraction team."

He straightens, surprise evident in his expression. He's had a bellyfull of running after shadows lately with this Karate Kid pursuit, and he's ready to start laying into something. Sneaking around doesn't fit his definition of that in the slightest. "What?"

"Extraction," he reiterates, though he's well aware the younger man heard him. "We can't afford detection. There will be hazards of another kind to deal with." There's a pause. "Unless you don't think you're up to the challenge."

Fully aware of the eyes of the entire room watching them, his expression tightens. His ego button's been effectively pushed, and he knows it, and there's no call to challenge it right now. "Understood."
