"You wouldn't have much to do if they did."

Her voice and the sound of her fire are heard before she's actually seen, then she lands nearby.

He should have figured someone would find him eventually. Its kind of heartening in a way.

He doesn't look up, but then that's normal for him.
"I'd be ok with that." he answers quietly, the fatigue showing in his voice. Not that it should surprise her. Even in the days they did share space, he almost never slept. A 3 hour catnap is a rare marvel, amidst a lot of sudden disappearances.
"I thought maybe I'd done enough the past..." he lets the ring check the chronometer, his only real awareness of days and nights of late having faded into when the ring needs recharging. "4 days. Sorry for dropping you off, turned out for the best though... don't know if I could have protected you in the upper atmosphere with Sinestro showing up."

"I'm a big girl. I can handle myself."

Maybe a bit slow on noticing the obvious, but she can take care of herself.

Without hesitation, she walks right up to him, dousing her flames midway.

"You done?"

There's none of the clumsy clambering to his feet for him. Briefly alight with a green nimbus, he just rises a foot into the air from his knees, the easy way back up to his feet.
He lingers over the body of the dead teen for a moment, "I've just notified the authorities. Someone should be here shortly... after they get here..." he pauses, reaching out with the ring to sense the city beyond him. "No. Too much still to do tonight."
