It felt like a nice weekend on a late morning day. One of the days where a night’s rain left enough moisture in the air. The slight cloudy conditions kept the harsh rays of a summer’s sun from beating down upon the streets of Gotham City with it’s full force. As both Helena and Jason were outside enjoying their morning brunch close to the coffee shop they had their first private encounter, a soft smile was given her way. There was almost this melancholy aura in the air with a sense of purpose and free spirit. It felt like a nice weekend on a late morning day.
It all felt perfect. Right up until the point where Jason’s body was convulsed in place and a deep red stain showed on the front of his shirt. In almost a fluid like motion, an exit wound appears as flesh, blood, bone, and fragments of his clothing are sprayed from Jason’s back. A gurgling sound comes about as blood follows out of his mouth and it would show that dry land drowning has caught due to blood filling his lungs. He pushes Helena to the side while trying to find some cover and stagger away from the rest of the people around.
A second silent round finds it’s target as it comes in contact with his abdomen, leaving Jason to now massively bleed on the ground from the back and front of his body. In some manner, the rounds must have caused enough damage that he couldn’t walk upright any longer, so with hands and elbows he makes a few feet away until a third round finds it’s mark. Massive trauma leaves Jason laying on his belly and eyes rolling to the back of his head. The sounds of sirens can be heard in the distance as the screaming and running of people can be seen with only one body around hanging lifeless.
