Guess what move Sand's got back in his repertoire?
Sand shifts downward into the ground, and comes up directly UNDER Louis...leading with a six-foot wide column of earth that shoots him straight UPWARDS into...hopefully through...the ceiling.
The look on Louis's face is priceless. Barely a foot from the stone ceiling, he disappears, reappearing fifteen feet from the floor. He makes a crunch when he lands, but rolls and is back on his feet, if unsteadily.
Teleporting always makes him slightly nauseous. The ground shakes again and a gale rallies up, blasting any and all in his range away from he and Crystal. A shield goes up around them and something of an orange tint rolls in like mist, making precise location hard to determine and making the air feel considerably thinner.
Seeing no one taking him up on his light show, Travis switches into 'help' mode. Illusions are useless against him, as is trying to draw his air away. He responds with a blast that turns into a rain of tiny, burning sparks over the whole area Louis could be in. They won't do that much, other than set combustibles alight with a green fire and sting a bit, but it ought to highlight him nicely for Sand.
It rains down over his shield but doesn't touch skin. A range of sparkles. How cute.
He reproduces the affect in various patterns around the area, which just makes for more light pollution in the blurry haze. Maybe the GL can tell the difference, but will the geomancer?
The sparkles gather and coalesce into a larger flame, which explodes in a bright light in front of the shield, trying to blind the occupant, with the haze nicely shielding everyone outside it from the effect. Then the flare fades into a nice ring of light, highlighting the borders and location of the shield - Travis using what he learned from studying Corrine's magic and items to tie and weave the lantern's light into the pattern of Louis' magic, so however the shield reshapes or moves, the highlight should follow for the moment. Not much else he can do with magic yet, but its a start, and hopefully helps Sand out, since its starting to appear like others need the help more.
Sand notes the size of the general area, and the earth beneath the two rises up and surrounds the general area, then begins to constrict with incredible power and force...such that in order to really combat it, Louis would almost need to drop his current forcefield in order to fight back.
Sand's roughly 20 feet away. He only needs a fraction of a second....
...contact.
This was what he was going to do with Corrine, but things just weren't quite there. He evokes the incantation...
...and now Louis is holding Sand's hand...with Crystal now on the stone column 20 feet away.
"Didn't know you cared." Sand says before Louis knows whats going on...then pulls him in and hits a palm thrust straight down on the shoulder. With the force - and added superhuman strength - brought in, the shoulder should be dislocated, the arm useless, and Louis in too much pain to focus for some seconds.
Louis recoils at the hit but not nearly fast enough and almost loses his feet. The pain sends him into another direction into the mist but he's not sure what he's possibly moving into.
Time to cut away to fix the arm. He won't have a battle of strategy with a Green Lantern, and he's done his homework not to hand-to-hand this guy. Too many combatants on the field and he doesn't know where they all are. Crystal's gone, too... he'll come back. He snaps away.
He grins over at Crystal, mustering power that shakes the room and brings lightning in the middle of the group, intent on breaking their ranks.

Sand's waiting for that. With baited interest.

Except, y'know-- Crystal in grasp, he moves his location around rapidly a few times.
